We are redesigning our site to use JSP/servlet technology. (btw, our
world accessible site is not using those technologies now :)

We have implemented our own version of JSP (mainly for speed reasons,
but also for extensions that were necessary).

We made some test performances and we can easily reach 10000 pages a
minute for simple pages and around 6000 when we have more stuff to do
with the database. And this running on only one Java Web Server... we
also have a load balancer that can dispatch the requests on a cluster of
JWS at will so the performances can be even greater (this is for
scalability).

I think we are very satisfied by those figures.
