You can subsrcibe to a digest and search the archives at

I agree that there are too many question about problems with specific
products that would be better addressed in mailing lists provided by the
product vendors.
My suggestion is that list administrator adds the URLs for the list archive
and the JSP main page at Sun's site in the footer of all mails on the list.
It would also be nice is a mail could be sent once a week to the list with
info about searching the archive before asking, directing product specific
questions to vendor's list, references to external JSP resources, etc. These
two simple measures were implemented for the Servlet interest group a while
back and I believe they actually helped bring down the "noice level".
