Pass rate is 30 - 40% - ie, 60+ percent fail.   They ask some detailed questions on 
areas you may not be familiar with, even though you have several years
of Java programming experience.  For example, given 8 possible TextArea constructor 
calls, identify the 4 that are valid.  If you get 3 out of 4, it's
still wrong.  Ditto for Java Keywords, bit shifting, ...

I'd recommend studying the objectives at Sun Education's site.

I'd also recommend our JCertify product.  It's an exam simulator and interactive 
training tool.

Both JCertify 2.0 (Java 2 platform objectives) and JCertify 1.1 (JDK 1.1 exam
