within the servlet-2.2 specification:

this is possible. we are just wrapping up the final touches
on a servlet 2.2 and jsp 1.1 jswdk reference implementation
which should be made available for distribution soon.

while mapping jsp's in this manner is technically feasible
i'm curious as to the practicality of doing so. can you
expand on this a bit? in implementing this feature i struggled
a bit with real-world applications of such a feature. i'm sure
they exist and am interested in your observations.
