That would be quite a rumor. I too had heard something about the ITools
people being split out. If that were true, then I'd believe the rumor, but I
don't believe Symantec would otherwise be leaving since they are the market
leaders and have many relationships with other vendors, such as BEA, to
provide the IDE for their systems.
