I agree with the concern about edicts but disagree with the need for
attachments.

In the context of this group, I cannot think of any necessary attachment
that may not be made available through other means, such as through a link,
for example. Bandwidth is one concern; infection is another.

In light of new malicious strains of Explore.zip virus, attachments look
pretty unappealing, especially from someone you do not know.

Someone not knowing they are infected does not excuse risking the rest of
us. Consider it prophylaxis.

I vote for no attachments sent to the group.
