Hmmm... I'm not sure how I should interpret "from WebLogic to Hans" ;-)

But, yes, I have actually developed two different tag libraries with
features like database access, looping, sending email, etc. by now.
One is for the book I'm writing, following pretty much the same approach
as the examples in the JSP 1.1 spec.

The other is a port of our InstantOnline Basic product, with support for
access to request parameters, objects in any JSP scope, database result
data, etc. through a more compact syntax than Java (it's actually similar
to the syntax used by WM, discussed at length here earlier). Both approaches
have pros and cons, of course, and I'm still trying to decide the final
"look and feel" for the InstantOnline library together with developers
who are playing around with the preview version.
