Kudos to Sun!

Sun is taking a proactive position to protect JSP support group members
against email spread viruses, a position that could well guide industry
standards.

Judging from emails I have received, most of us will applaud Sun's
efforts to enforce a no attachments policy for this group. Sun's position
protects all group members, with minimal inconvenience for any of us. Thank
you, Sun, for doing the right thing.

Undoubtedly, some problems will pop-up, as Sun develops systems to
enforce these prophylactic measures. One problem may be a need to send text
only messages for the time being. If so, any inconvenience caused is minor,
compared to the many problems solved.

From our perspective, Sun deserves great praise for their leadership in
ending this growing industry problem.
