Yes, but don't forget those messages are also downloaded to corporate mail
servers, where they waste lots of space and can cause other problems (like
managers yanking listserv lists when they get tired of the "Your computer
has downloaded a virus" messages!). The attachments take up unnecessary
space on our drives, slow down our mail, and 90% of us don't look at them or
want to. They should be exchanged during off-line conversations between list
members. Too many clowns without a clue put up 1meg screen shots or stack
traces or source files.

applaud. I do not find it difficult to identify viruses (most have an exe
extension) and think this reduce the usefulness of the list.
