Do it via Interfaces:
Make an interface that describes the methods of CorbaConnection
Call it CorbaInterface_A.
have CorbaConnection implement CorbaInterface_A
Next say:
CorbaInterface_A corbacon = con.get();
This is how true Object Oriented Programming Works.
