Uh.....some benchmarks of JDK 1.3 vs. compiled C++ put Java at approx 80% of
C++ in speed.
Important benchmark for consideration:
- Microsoft announces disappointing earnings prospects; Stock
drops...employee's "bail".
- Sun Micro announces huge earnings increase....beyond everyone's
expectations. Stock soars.
Microsloth is dying......a technological "dinosaur-in-process".
