Nonsense. For those for whom security is an issue and need scalability and
reliability, Java/Unix is the platform. Java survives because of the web,
but also its distributed components, its security, reliability and
extensibility. Sure, developing in VB/VBScript/ASP is faster, but it is
top-heavy, leads to new processes rather than new threads and is still too
unstable, too difficult to scale and too insecure to make inroads into the
Unix Java Server space.

Subject: Comments for C# / VB Gen Next?
Micosoft is coming out with C#(C Sharp), a new language, that is related to
OOPS and also, it is to be supported by the .NET platform, which will be
compatible with both all platforms. And it will be completely Web Enabled.
Java survives on its Web Related Technologies mainly.
and also, VB Gen Next(probably 7.0) is going completely OOPS based. Will
Visual Studio take over?
What about Java? The need for speed might take over, or will it?
Do give your comments.
Love Always,
Abhishek Shodhan.
