Hi chris
Thanx for ur help
Now let me tell you, what i did
First i created a new directory "MyBean" and put all class files(Home,Remote &
Implementation) into it.Then i created a jar file with these class files,Using
jar utility.
Now after that with the jetace tool i created another EJBJAR file with the
deployment descriptor files in this jar file(That is i used jetace tool to
generate the Deployment Descriptor for my Stateless Session bean.
After that i tried to deploy it using the WebsphereAdmin console First i added
the EJBComponenet to the default container
After selecting the jar file it asks whether u want to deploy it now
But when i say deploy the EJB it gives me the following message

Deployment[createEJSJar] failed.
EJBDeploy: setupWorkingDir(): Setting up working directory
D:/IBM/WAServer\deployedEJBs\ConverterEJB1WorkingDir

Can you please tell me how exactly do we need to do this .
Your guidence will be highly appreciated

Thanking you

Girish

>Hi Girish,

>You have two ways to do this (if you happen to develop with VAJava):
>1 - From VAJava Entreprise Edition you can directly deploy your EJBs to
>WebSphere (EJB page - Generate Deployed Code)
>2 - From WebSphere Advance Edition you can first use the 'jetace' tool (in
the
>bin directory, start from the command line) to make your EJBs deployable, and
>then, from the Admin Console, open your obtained jar file in the
><as_root>/deployableEJBs directory and select your Beans to be deployed
>Hope this answer does come too late
