hi all,
i have read little of the JSP and XML white paper.
Since i have done a similar project, i would like to contribute/exchange
ideas
i wrote a JSP in XML which calls different stylesheets depending on the
User-Agent, so that i can write one JSP and present it either in a Web
browser or a WAP browser
Not only my project does that, but also frees the UI designer from learning
the intricacies of XML/XSL: in fact, following an article appeared on
xml.com, i make use of two stylesheet:
- one is XHTML (actually well-formed HTML) that 'describes' the layout of
the page (images, table etc.)
- one is the XSL stylesheet that contains the logic
Probably this idea was already 'launched' by the Jakarta project
anyway, i will be interested to exchange ideas about that
regards
marco
