Having done an HTML application purely via a dumb XSLT servlet, dynamic XML
data sources, and XSLT as well as other stuff with JSP. I emphatically
agree. JSP and XSLT are both useful and sometimes necessary tools to apply.
Using either where the other should be used is painful. XPath is an
extremely important middle ground that has not been adequately explored in
this context.
