Did you installed the JDK 1.2 or later????

First run tomcat/bin/startup then Apache. Shutdown is the reverse....

Better yes: be sure to include the jar files located in your JDK and specify
1 path+filename for tools.jar
> Do i have to install jswdk also?
I don't think!!!!!

In Tomcat, in the file server.xml, you can configure CONTEXTs. Each context
must be created under the webapps folder and must contain a WEB-INF and a
META-INF folders (see the "examples" folder tree....and copy it deleting
everything is in the "classes" folder)
you can put jsp in the root of your context and classes in the "classes"
sub-folder.
> Also, do have to set the mime type for jsp in the mime.conf file of the

I didn't
> THANX in advance.
