Here is the help from my side and I guess it will help you.

Run the Startup.bat file to run tomcat from the bin directory.
Classpath has to be set.
set TOMCAT_HOME=<the directory of jakarta tomcat>
set JDK_HOME=<jdk path>
Install jsdk2.0 and set its "lib" directory to classpath.
set tools.jar to the classpath

Now u are done to run servlets as well as jsp

You can have ur jsp files in webapps directory in jakarta-tomcat
