Hi,
I am not sure whether you can make raw socket connection(But HTTP connections are 
allowed) to the remote machine because of obvious security reasons. But this can be 
done by using servlet computing ( good for uploading files too). If you give me a 
clear picture of what should be done , I can give you some info.
