Hi,
You are not seeing the extensions b'cos, in ur windows explorer setting, u
have an option "Hide file extensions for known file types" If u dont select
that option, then u'll see the .txt extension :-)
How to get there ?
Open windows explorer
Select "Folder Option" menu item from "Tools" menu
Select the View tab
In that u'll see a check box which says "hide file extensions for known file
types"
just uncheck it...
and u'll see file extension
This is in Windows NT. ( i dont know how different it is in
Windows95/98/2000)
But I guess all of them has this setting.
