Your configuration files must not be set up correctly. If you have the
config files set up correctly, apache would send the request to Tomcat.
Insure that you have the JSP sitting in the correct directory. The
directory you specified in your Tomcat config file. Sorry I can't give you
anymore details, I did this a while ago, but can't remember which file is
which. All I can suggest is to double-check your server.xml and other
config files that allow Apache to send the requests to Tomcat.
When you have it set up correctly, you should be able to see a compiled .jsp
page without including the 8080 port number on the URL.

Subject: apache + tomcat ??

Hi,
I installed Apache to work with tomcat, if I wok from tomcat directly:
when I type http://mil2wwds10:8080/jetspeed/
I got http://mil2wwds10:8080/jetspeed/index.jsp
and everything works fine.

But if I call from Apache port :
http://mil2wwds10:80/jetspeed/
I got only a page that show all the files and directories under jetspeed,
then I have to click in index.jsp to be shown, and when I click in a link in
the index.jsp file, if the link is an html file it works fine, but if it's a
jsp or servlet it does not work.
