I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, but the Community Edition of Forte (or Sun One Studio, as it's now called) is free. Also, I don't think that Sun "bought over" NetBeans, since it's a non-profit ORGanization. However, I believe that Forte is based on (or uses) the NetBeans "engine". I don't know; haven't looked into it...and don't really care. Anyway, John was looking for options and Forte is just one of many. NetBeans is great too!
