Just a note: I've been embedding JSPWiki in a standalone Java application
for several years now and have a UI feature that permits the set of pages
to come from anywhere on a user's system. No patch was necessary, if we're
talking about wiki pages (not JSPs or templates). The 'webapps' directory
is also set by the parent application, though in my application the
WikiEngine does operate 'normally' relative to that directory.
(though I believe this is not news, just a point of clarification.)
