Piotr Tarnowski updated JSPWIKI-504:

I've made new style for patched-by-myself WebSvn (not published yet). Certainly
I will made similar style for JspWiki (to have common look for both tools). The
idea is to have compact style (most screen space is used by content not
decoration) which gives page look of standard system level application. I will
create this style for current stable but of course I can issue it for 3.0 as
well.

Attached are screen dumps for WebSvn (just to got a feeling), "Current Path"
will probably become "Your trail" and leftMenu will be added.

And my three cents to discussion about how define CSS. For me it is much easier
to have single style for each logical element rather then heavy rely on
cascading. You can always define two styles together
{code}
H1, H2 {font-weight: bold;}
{code}

> Folks, I'm kinda tired of our old look. I would like to propose that we
> retire the old, plain look (which looks very HTML 2.0) to an optional skin,
> and adopt a completely new default look to signify the milestone marker to a
> new life under Apache.
> However, we *do* need the hand of a capable graphic designer on this one.
> Any volunteer helpers? Feel free to attach your skins as proposals to this
> issue ;-)
