I miss typed, I was actually attempting to use %%sortable. It appears that my best course of action may be to upgrade. I just had so many issues with setting up the security initially that I was hoping to avoid re-installing, but I don't think I have much choice at this point.

Plse use %%sortable and not %%sorttable.
Why don't you move to the latest v2.5.x version, where it's more like
to get support in case of problems.
