I have a polygon-type geometry (MyGeometry) with no holes. When I use
isWithinDistance to test if a given point inside MyGeometry is within a given
distance, isWithinDistance always returns true: it does not matter which
argument I pass as distance. Points inside MyGeometry are always within any
passed distance. It appears that the polygon is considered as an area and any
point inside it is 'within distance'

Is there a way I can test whether a point is within a certain distance from a
polygon considering the polygon as a line and not as area? One workaround would
be to have a geometry with a hole but there may be a better approach.

Thanks for this terrific tool and your support.

Regards
