Hey Stefan, Good observation...We continually ponder how to deal with the different versions of the specs...One of the things we are doing in Hermes is wrapping the XmlBean type in a fa�ade-like class. Basically it would be this class that is passed around and it would have constructors which take the versioned type and also allow you to get at the raw XmlObject.
While we have begin to put this in place for Topics and TopicExpressions, we have no refactored the EPR to do the same sort of thing....We will need to do that, Ian and I were actually discussing this very thing yesterday...
