Dear List: I have published a new article with significant mention of Ernst Juenger in it. The article is written in English, and thus contributes to the current literature on Juenger in the English-speaking world, in all of its paucity. In the article I examine two author's papers related to Heidegger's ontology in the '30's; and in the interim claim that "It is through Juenger's metaphysical optic that Heidegger understands the significance of his last god, a sign that Being is threatened from total mobilization and annihilation." I then go on to examine the Heidegger-Juenger relationship in more detail.
