He built "Theodore" which is a Visual UI editor for thinlet xml files, and is still working on "Franklin" which is a GUI editor for Swixml UI's... haven't seen much progress on that for several months. http://www.carlsbadcubes.com/franklin/ We both agreed that Thinlet and Swing had two different purposes: Thinlet: works in AWT and JDK 1.1 Swing: richer components The problem I've had getting started with SwixML is that Wolf wants it to be XML for people who already know/understand Swing. Me -- I'm not so good with Swing, especially layouts -- so I really need that GUI editor thingy. Thinlet XML, in contrast, was reallly easy to whip something together... but has the major shortcoming of not being extensible with custom widgets. No good.
