Almost a year ago I used Paypal <http://paypal.com/> to develop a 
simple system which received payments and triggered delivery orders 
when the payments came in.  It worked well enough, and was fairly easy 
to program.  But it is limited by the requirement that customers have 
to have Paypal accounts.

That's my experience, in case it helps.
