Versign has 2 packages - PayFlow Pro and PayFlow Link.

The Pro package includes an API that allows your
system to send credit card transactions directly to
their servers over SSL. (same as Authorize.net I
assume)

The Link package links to a versign hosted credit card
form. Its less expensive, quick to setup and probably
a good option for starters.

Linking to PayPal is an option too, although I belive
that forces your customers to sign up for a paypal
account.

Good Luck
