Last year, Andrew Hunt told us that if we want to stay in the Software Development
business (as opposed to diversifying into
disciplines), we will need to keep with the latest tools and frameworks. As the New
Year begins, there are several opportunities to
add and maintain your skills.

If you want to stick with Java, we will be getting together Monday evening to define
the Java Software Development Workshops needed
to meet our skill development needs.

If you are interested in diversifying your skills, you may be interested in the .NET
Special Interest Groups.

For details, see the appended email.

   Harold Meder.

* Understanding and Solving Application and Test Challenges for High Speed D/A
Converters
<http://pull.xmr3.com/p/14844-B575/57528555/clickto1_.broadcast.com-cmp-adi-011304.html>

On-line Seminar: Tuesday, January 13, 1:00 PM EST
High speed D/A converters are becoming increasingly mainstream in all types of
consumer, industrial, instrumentation, and
communication applications. However, achieving required noise performance and dynamic
range at high data rates presents a unique set
of system design challenges. This NetSeminar will address the issues faced in
designing with high speed D/A converters and present
techniques for insuring success. We will explore application issues that can limit
performance, address test equipment
characteristics that create test and measurement challenges for D/As, and discover how
to effectively interface to the DAC output to
maximize the high speed D/A's performance capabilities. To register for this event go
