[Juglist] info sought on denial of service attacks

I am preparing to expose servers to the Internet (ports 25, 80, 110 
and perhaps more later) and I want to prepare for the possibility of 
denial of service attacks.  Is there some website, email list, 
magazine, or book which someone would recommend to me, where I can see 
a cataloging of the types of attacks which I may experience and a 
summary of counter measures available.
