Just wondering. I find that the choice is often driven by how the business
people want it to look.
Bingo. And business people always want form authentication. The L&F can be customized.
Basic sends the username/password for *every* request. Form only sends it once. So while sniffing a password only needs a single transmission, I feel a bit better with form than with basic.
