That means (1) we don't remove the code or the bugs or the maintenance, and (2) those charms never get fixed :) I suggest we turn it off behind a feature flag for a beta release and if that doesn't throw up too many concerns that cannot be addressed in the charms directly, we remove it properly for 2.0.
