We're pleased to announce the addition of another leading public cloud
into the growing fold of CPC partners.
Joyent will be announcing Canonical as their premier linux partner with
certified Ubuntu guest images and the option of enterprise support
backed by us to their customers . Additionally as part of the agreement
Joyent will make available a Juju Provider for Joyent Cloud increasing
the public clouds where Juju is supported (AWS, Windows Azure,
OpenStack) and lead development around a node.js charm increasing the
quality and quantity of charms around this fast growing platform
Joyent (www.joyent.com <http://www.joyent.com>) is focused on mobile
development, big data and high performance computing as well as being
the public cloud solution for Dell's direct sales organization.
Certified images will be available November 1. The Juju provider and
node.js charm will be available in the Jan/Feb time frame. Thanks to
Antonio and team for leading the engineering efforts and Andrew for
helping close the agreement.
