Julia is strict on these kind of details, and I think that is important. 
The current style is short error messages telling you what is wrong, but 
there are interest in expanding that into a system where we can have longer 
error messages that actually helps you solve your problem. The discussions 
on design are unfortunately still ongoing, and there seems to be strong 
opinions and few implemented suggestions.
