I'm guessing, but this might be due to some fragility with parallel make in 
the deps/Makefile on the release-0.3 branch. You can try make -C deps 
distclean-openlibm && make cleanall && make, see if things work better a 
second time around (cleanall does not clear out the large dependencies like 
llvm and openblas, so this shouldn't take too long).
