Would it make sense to have a git repo with a Julia extension for VS code somewhere? If you would just push you julia folder from your .vscode\extensions, that would be great!

Just took a look at the new basic language support. Importing a textmate language definition to start it off is quite nice. It would be nicer if macros were highlighted (can't see why they aren't as they are defined) but it is a start! What would be great is some form of automatic syntax checks as well. Checking that you are using the correct types for a function and such would be nice to know when writing instead of when running.
