this is a downside of having a project that spans 3 travis languages; (c++, node, julia) -- currently the language is set to c++. Ironically, the c++ provided by language c++ is the wrong one on Linux (gcc 4.6 is too old). I think I copied that script back in the day, but have since modified it to allow additional permutations. Isn't though there an issue to seeing what a project backed by a language julia instance does -- julia is pre-installed?
