Hi,

I would like to make a preliminary query about interest in developing
some features we are missing in OpenJUMP. We are prepared to pay for the
development and put the results to Open Source, but no decisions of
going this way have not done yet. Nor have we fixed definitions for the
tasks but they might include:

- some improvements in WFS, like support for both WFS 1.0 and 1.1, and
better interoperability with other WFS servers than deegree, including
at least MapServer and GeoServer
- driver for reading off-line the downloaded GML data from WFS service
- improved user interface for WMS, like drop down menu for selecting
some previously used services
- connector for Oracle spatial data
- map enhanced form filling and XML-export, e.g. taking parcel areas and
perimeters from a map and sending them into corresponding fields in a
form
- some tailored digitizing tools, at least
split-polygon-with-polyline-and-keep-most-of-the-properties -tool

Interested companies, individuals etc. can contact me directly.
