Jukka, I have no idea how we might handle the JRE version in the batch script on Windows or Linux. Maybe Larry or Paul have suggestions?
Maybe we need to add a switch statement to the batch script that uses the "java -version" command and prints an error message if the installed version isn't appropriate. If Larry and Paul can confirm I'll see if I can modify the launch scripts to do this.
