Hi,

I was playing a bit with OpenStreetMap online editor for digitising some
local streets to OSM database on top of Yahoo aerial background. The
editor is made with Flash and it is quite a nice tool for its purpose.
Two features I liked in it are panning with left_click-drag and a
possibility to continue an existing road.
In OpenJUMP it is possible to pan while digitising with
Shift-Alt-Left_click-Drag. Could it be possible to use just click and
drag instead? That's also how Openlayers clients work. And how about a
most easy way to continue linestring from one end of it? In OSM Flash
editor you can easily select if you want to snap to endpoint of a
linestring and start drawing a new one, or if you want to continue
drawing the selected line instead. Is this possible in some way in
OpenJUMP now? I know I can get the same result by drawing a new line by
snapping to the endpoint, selecting old and new parts and combining them
with right-click menu option but still it means an extra operation while
digitising.
