Today I made a quick test on OJ 3004 comparing it to ver 3272 (before
Ede's modification). They both show the same behavior

a)
I started digitalizing a linestring
than click again to other tools without finalizing the 1st geometry OR
click to a zoom tool
- The 1st phantom disappears

b)
Start to diraw a linestring than click again to linestring tool
- the phantom doesn't disappears and user can go on drawing the original
linestring

In OJ 3004 is also possible (test B) to use Pan/Zoom shortcuts. In some
cases there it is possible to see a ghost line (a sequence of red points)
using Pan shortcuts that disappears after few seconds.
Anyhow 3004 seems as stable (no ghost, the same behavior) as 3272

It would be interesting to have an option as described by Michael (start
digitizing than click on a zoom tool, pan than finishing the geometry) but
I think that we can consider this as a further development (after OJ 1.6).

Symantec Endpoint Protection 12 positioned as A LEADER in The Forrester
Wave(TM): Endpoint Security, Q1 2013 and "remains a good choice" in the
endpoint security space. For insight on selecting the right partner to
tackle endpoint security challenges, access the full report.
