Hi,

I don’t know the terminology but at least for everyday use rubbersheeting quite
well described what happens: take a ground control point and stretch it into
the other end of the warping vector. Obviously what is done for vertices which
do not have direct warping vectors is linear interpolation.

OJ seems to produce different result if some warping vector is snapped to an
existing vertex or if it just placed in the middle of the segment where the
original feature does not have a vertex. That makes me think that the
transformation in not pure bilinear but I can be wrong.

I added that code and also a library for projective transformation. My
project is to get together on the warping toolbar all warping tools we have
plus Projective one.
I think I will add this capability at the beginning of 2017, after new OJ
real., in order to test and solve small problems.
"Bilinear interpolation" seems the right terminology for "rubber sheet
deformation", the one used by warping toolbox

Hi,

I saw alternatives for using Projective warping and bilineat interpolation
while translating the language strings. I wonder where can I find those options
from the user interface.
