..thanks for the replies thus far. Nothing definitive but it seems unlikely that WAN-PHY really works on EX4200, even though JUNOS auto-completes the 'framing wan-phy' command. (I know, it wouldn't be the first time the JUNOS CLI auto-completes an unsupported command.
