Hello,

Weight is a Cisco proprietary thing and cannot be used with a Juniper device. Maybe you could use preference (not local-preference).

Hi All,
I am configuring BGP for one of my customer's MX-5 router. I need to

Is there any way of assigning "weight" attribute on subnets learned from an
EBGP peer.

Cisco config of this is as following.

router bgp 123

neighbor pipe-bne soft-reconfiguration inbound

neighbor pipe-bne route-map ABC-IN in

route-map ABC-IN permit 10

  set weight 1500

I googled it and found following, which kinda says that we cant play with
weight attribute in policies. Is this correct?
