Carol brought up the idea that an IPython and/or Jupyter tutorial at PyCon would be a good idea, since we didn't do one last year. The deadline for tutorials in *next week, 30 November*
We have a few tutorials available, which we can derive from what we've done in the past: - classic "IPython in Depth", giving a broad overview and introduction - Deploying notebooks - JupyterHub in particular, possibly including things like tmpnb, kernel-gateway, using docker, etc. - A more widgets-centric, or other advanced IPython tutorial Or if anyone has another more in-depth or advanced idea, that would be great, too! Since it's been a while, I'm most inclined toward updating the classic IPython in Depth tutorial as a basic introduction to IPython and the notebook.
