Hi List - an update on the effort above -- there are now dot-deb versions of* ipython 5.4.0 / jupyter-core-4.2.0 *for your retro stability Ubuntu 1604 systems. These are in an experimental PPA [0] and skillful and/or brute-force testing is invited.
