Ah yes, the laws of physics. Isn't it amazing what a few
milliliters of liquid in a confined space can do?

        It makes me think of the prank that some teens like to
pull called a "dry ice bomb."

        They get a plastic soda bottle and some dry ice which is
frozen carbon dioxide and then put chunks of the dry ice in the
bottle and screw on the lid as tightly as they can. They then
leave the bottle in a storm drain, trash bin or somewhere and wait a few
minutes while the dry ice melts, producing more and more
pressure in the bottle. At some point, the bottle explodes with
a huge bang and the kids feel so proud of themselves. Hopefully,
nobody gets hurt, but it isn't the smartest thing to do.
