If I understand you correctly, the use of the term "tuple"
as a term of art in language design makes it improper
to use as a term in VM design.

I disagree.  And I dispute your use of the term "mistake"
applied to my work.  You might find the term confusing
when looking at VM work through a language lens,
but not everyone does.
